About Barcode and Barcode Scanners

A bar code enables automatic data identification and collection. It 'was invented in 1952 by Bernard Silver and Joseph Woodland. This bar code is basically parallel lines or bards of different width and thickness. The bars represent the binary numbers 1 and 0, and the journey began with an 0-9 using a computer. The information on bar code can only be read by a barcode scanner, an optical laser to be connected to a computer system for reading. The code can be read by moving the laser or the barcode bars on the pen and the computer with the information embedded in the barcode (s).

So what is this scanner bar code reader, and how it works? A bar code reader is an electronic gadget that reads the information embedded in bar codes. The scanner bar code contains a light source, conductor with photos and a lens. Here optical pulses are converted into electrical impulses. Most barcodeScanners> include a decoder circuit, which analyzes the image of the barcode, using a photo conductor, which is sent to the port scanner. There are three types of bar code reader, portable players is used for loading semi-automatic, fixed mount readers for automatic reading and final reader ports are used for automatic scanning.

There are four types of technology used for the barcode scanners that. Pen type readersphotodiode and a light source to read the bar code, the pen has gradually moved from the bar. The laser scanner works only if the pen type reader, here is a laser beam is squeezed and the light source used is the same. A CCD reader is also referred to as the 'scanner LED use a variety of small sensors of light, few are willing to head scanner / reader. The main difference between the reader and the PIN CCD is the CCD Actionambient light from the bar, but the laser scanners and pen type readers measuring the light reflected from a specific frequency scanner. The last and the last type is the camera-based 2D image reader scanner, using a small image of the camera to capture the barcode. Here the camera uses the same CCD technology, the only difference is that the CCD scanner has a range of public and the camera has hundreds of sensors in twodimensional arrays can produce an image.
